Sometimes life can be
too much.
Have you ever felt trapped in your own body, fighting symptoms no one can explain or solve?
I have.
Which is why I became a Trauma-Informed Wellness Educator.
For years, I was a fitness instructor. On the outside, healthy and full of energy, but inside, I was struggling. Chronic stress and unprocessed trauma weighed me down, even as I pushed through life with a smile. Then, in 2006, my body couldn’t keep up any longer. My health crashed, and despite seeing numerous doctors, I was given no answers.
Finally, a neurologist—still uncertain—diagnosed me with fibromyalgia.
But I didn’t settle for that diagnosis. I didn’t want to just numb the pain with a cocktail of anti-anxiety meds, anti-depressants, and painkillers. I needed to understand why my body was betraying me.
That search led me to uncover the profound impact of stress on health, launching me on a unique healing journey after a decade of emotional upheaval, including:
A high-risk pregnancy and traumatic birth of twins, followed by a two-month NICU stay.
A complex divorce marked by financial and power struggles.
Single parenting while juggling three jobs.
Blending a family with its own chronic stressors.
Continued chronic health issues for my children.
A series of toxic relationships—both personal and professional.
These experiences shaped my commitment to understanding stress and fuel my passion for educating others on wellness and self-care.
The year 2006 was a pivotal transition for me.
I embarked on a journey to uncover the root cause.
With the help of a trusted medical provider, we finally found the answers and discovered life-changing solutions. Almost twenty years later, I’m no longer the woman who was trapped in pain, fatigue, and emotional exhaustion. Today, I’m vibrant, full of energy, and living the life I love.
But here's the truth: I know there are countless others out there, just like I was.
People who are exhausted, frustrated, and caught in the endless cycle of doctor visits, prescriptions, and temporary fixes. People who don’t want to be dependent on meds but feel like they have no other choice.
I’ve felt that hopelessness. And I refuse to let others stay stuck in that cycle.
With over 20 years of education, certifications, and, most importantly, personal experience, I know exactly what it’s like to feel trapped by your health.
I’m here to help you break free.
And yes, I’m Also an Author!
Alongside Hope for Health Wellness, my women’s fiction novels serve as a form of Bibliotherapy, fostering social-emotional awareness through storytelling. These stories explore the very challenges that shape us, offering insight, healing, and connection, ecause when we heal ourselves, we uplift those around us. Sometimes, the right story is exactly what we need to guide us forward.
Are you ready to take your next step with us?
I’m not here just to tell you what worked for me—I’m here to walk alongside you, to teach you tools, share powerful stories, and introduce you to experts who can help you reclaim your health and joy.
My mission is simple: I want to plant seeds of hope that grow into lifelong transformation. If we can help just one person escape the trap of illness and regain their vitality, it will impact the generations that follow.
This isn’t just about wellness; it’s about breaking free from a cycle that has been holding us hostage for too long.
I walk my talk every day. Even on days when I feel off-center. Getting “off track” is a part of life. What’s different now is that I have a wealth of tools and skills to help me get back on course swiftly and with ease. This ability to return to center is incredibly empowering.
