Sometimes life can be
too much.
Have you ever felt trapped in your own body, fighting symptoms no one can explain or solve?
I have.
That journey became the foundation for everything I teach today — because no one should have to navigate healing alone.
For years, I was a fitness instructor — healthy on the outside, full of energy, always smiling. But behind that smile, I was struggling. Chronic stress and unprocessed trauma were quietly weighing me down, even as I pushed through each day like everything was fine.
In 2006, my body finally said enough.
My health crashed. I saw doctor after doctor, but no one had answers — until a neurologist, still uncertain, gave me a diagnosis: fibromyalgia.
But I didn’t settle.
I didn’t want to numb the pain with a mix of anti-anxiety meds, antidepressants, and painkillers. I needed to know why my body was breaking down — and how I could begin to heal.
That question marked the start of my real wellness journey.
It came on the heels of a decade of emotional upheaval, including:
A high-risk pregnancy and the traumatic birth of twins, followed by two months in the NICU
A difficult divorce filled with financial strain and power struggles
Single parenting while working three jobs
Blending a family — with all the layered dynamics and stress that brings
Chronic health challenges with my kids
A pattern of toxic relationships, both personal and professional
Through it all, I kept searching — for answers, for healing, for myself.
And what I discovered changed everything: stress isn’t just mental — it’s physical, emotional, and deeply embedded in how we live. That insight reshaped my life and planted the seed for my passion: helping others understand their stress, reconnect with their bodies, and create lives that feel more nourishing, sustainable, and true.
The year 2006 marked a turning point.
I made the decision to dig deeper — to get to the root of what was happening in my body. With the support of a trusted medical provider, we finally found the answers that had eluded me for so long… and uncovered life-changing solutions.
Nearly twenty years later, I’m no longer the woman trapped in pain, fatigue, and emotional exhaustion.
Today, I’m vibrant, energized, and living a life I love.
But here’s the truth: I know there are so many others out there who feel just like I did.
People who are exhausted, frustrated, and stuck in a cycle of endless appointments, prescriptions, and temporary fixes. People who don’t want to depend on meds forever, but feel like there’s no other way.
I’ve been there. I know that kind of hopelessness — and I refuse to let others stay stuck in it.
With over 20 years of education, certifications, and (most importantly) real-life experience, I know what it’s like to feel lost in your own body. I know how confusing, lonely, and disempowering it can feel.
And I’m here to help you break free.
Healing, for me, has never been one-dimensional — and neither is the work I do.
In addition to leading Hope for Health Wellness, I’m also a writer.
My women’s fiction novels are more than stories — they’re a form of bibliotherapy, designed to explore the emotional undercurrents that shape us and the silent battles many of us carry. Through storytelling, I aim to foster reflection, connection, and healing — because I believe that when we tend to our own hearts, we create ripple effects that reach far beyond us.
Sometimes, the right story finds us when we need it most.
My hope with every book I write is to do more than entertain — I want to plant seeds. Some take root quietly. Others arrive in ways that catch readers off guard. But all of them are meant to linger.
Because whether through words, workshops, or one-on-one conversations, my mission is the same:
To help people feel seen. To remind them they’re not alone. And to offer tools — and stories — that guide them back to themselves.
Are you ready to take your next step with us?
I’m not here to just tell you what worked for me.
I’m here to walk alongside you — to share practical tools, powerful stories, and connect you with experts who can support your journey toward healing, clarity, and lasting change.
Because when one person finds their way out of chronic stress or illness and reclaims their energy and joy — it doesn’t just change them. It changes families. Communities. Generations.
This isn’t just about wellness.
It’s about freedom — from patterns that have kept us stuck for far too long.
I walk my talk every day.
And yes, there are still days, maybe weeks, when I feel off-center — because that’s part of being human.
But now I have a toolkit that helps me come back to center with more ease, compassion, and clarity. That shift is everything. And I want the same for you.
