Sometimes life can just be too much.
Education on the impact of stress on our health is deeply important to me due to my own healing journey, which began after a decade of emotional upheaval. This period included:
A high-risk pregnancy and the traumatic birth of twin daughters.
A two-month NICU stay and various risky health issues during their early years.
An unusually complex divorce, leading to years of financial and power struggles.
Single parenting while working three jobs to make ends meet.
Blending a family with its own set of chronic, stressful circumstances.
A diagnosis of Fibromyalgia for myself in 2006 and a diagnosis of Polyglandular Autoimmune Type Two for my daughters, Taylor and Morgyn, in 2004, at age seven.
A series of toxic and unhealthy relationships, both personal and professional.
These experiences have shaped my commitment to understanding and addressing the effects of stress, and they fuel my passion for educating others about wellness and self-care.
The year 2006 was a pivotal transition for me.
When I stopped criticizing myself for what I "should have done differently," I was able to reconnect with my own goals and start experiencing life as I desired. With the support of a trusted medical provider, healers, and many other mentors, I discovered complementary approaches and alternative options that empowered me to advocate for my emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
This transformation inspired me to create a life I truly love.
With over twenty years of education, certifications, and personal experience, I offer you science-based, practical information paired with deep compassion. I understand the challenges of struggling firsthand and am committed to supporting you with both expertise and empathy.
In addition to Hope for Health Wellness, my women’s fiction novels serve as a Bibliotherapy tool to foster social-emotional awareness. These stories address the very scenarios that challenge us at our core.
My passion lies in storytelling, teaching, sharing self-care tools and strategies, and collaborating with inspiring experts to help you live the life you deserve. I am dedicated to supporting others on their journey back to vibrant health because, together, we impact not only our own lives but also the lives of those around us.
I walk my talk every day. Even on days when I feel off-center, I reach for the tools in my toolbox to return to the self-care I know I need.
Getting “off track” is a part of life. What’s different now is that I have a wealth of tools and skills to help me get back on course swiftly and with ease. This ability to return to center is incredibly empowering.
